Technical Manager – Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS)

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Technical Manager with Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) expertise to support senior Government leadership and oversee test and evaluation (T&E) activities in a mission-critical environment. This role supports high-visibility initiatives focused on evaluating, coordinating, and advancing C-UAS technologies across federal stakeholders. The position is on-site in downtown Washington, DC, with a requirement to work in the customer’s office at least three days per week.
What You’ll Do
• Serve as a technical and operational liaison supporting C-UAS initiatives across multiple government components
• Coordinate and track C-UAS RDT&E, technology demonstrations, and T&E programs
• Observe and assess C-UAS system demonstrations and report findings to senior law enforcement and government leaders
• Evaluate COTS, GOTS, and integrated C-UAS systems for operational viability and deployment readiness
• Support interagency coordination and information sharing related to C-UAS activities
• Apply working knowledge of C-UAS legal authorities and exemptions to support operational planning
• Coordinate Operational Plan (OPLAN) information with legal and policy stakeholders
• Prepare clear, concise briefings and executive-level materials
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in defense, national security, or advanced technology environments
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycles and complex, integrated technology systems
• Strong understanding of C-UAS technologies and law enforcement or national security CONOPS
• Broad technical background with the ability to understand how systems communicate and integrate
• Familiarity with geospatial analysis tools and applications
• Proven ability to brief and work effectively with senior government leadership
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Self-starter mindset with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Must work on-site in Washington, DC at least three days per week
