Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support our client in Fort Meade, MD. The Cloud Engineer will enhance and maintain cloud-based CI/CD pipelines, advise on automation best practices, and support DevSecOps initiatives across Azure environments for mission-critical federal programs.
Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer include:
• Drive continuous improvement of DevSecOps processes, tooling, and automation
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Helm, and Nexus
• Implement and enforce security practices within automated pipelines
• Administer and optimize Azure cloud environments and Kubernetes clusters
• Apply Infrastructure - as - Code (IaC) using Ansible and Terraform
• Collaborate with Agile teams using Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
• Deliver high - quality work that meets defined acceptance criteria and project deadlines
Qualifications for the Cloud Engineer include:
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of DevSecOps engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience with Azure and other cloud environments
• 3+ years of experience with application and OS security
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines with industry - standard tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Helm, Nexus)
• 3+ years of Kubernetes experience within Azure environments
• Experience working in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Compensation for the Cloud Engineer includes:
• Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000
