Position Title: Software Engineer – Python / Web Services
Location: Augusta, GA
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Supporting Agency: Intel MD customer
Work Environment: On-site
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and a minimum of 7 years of directly relevant experience
OR
- 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Position Summary
The Software Engineer will develop and integrate multiple user interfaces and services supporting software systems that perform high-volume data processing. Responsibilities include designing and implementing software solutions that integrate with core enterprise services, supporting new baseline deployments, and contributing to scalable, mission-critical capabilities. The engineer will collaborate within a high-performing CI/CD environment while validating software performance and ensuring compliance with system requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Ability to thrive in a high-performing, fast-paced CI/CD environment
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix command-line operations
- Experience as an Agile developer
- Experience developing back-end services in Python
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, and/or HTML
- Experience developing web user interfaces
- Experience with web service API development (e.g., REST)
- Experience with ActiveMQ or similar message-broker technologies
- Experience with NoSQL / Elastic-based databases
- Experience validating software capabilities, writing/executing test cases, and documenting test results
- Experience with Jira
- Experience using Confluence, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools

- Experience with dynamic or interactive mapping software
