Primary Responsibilities:
- Exchange information with the Accounting Department
- Exchange information with shareholders relating to stock questions.
- Interaction with shareholders, and/or any of Olgoonik's affiliates regarding shareholder relations.
- Assist OC shareholders with questions and difficulties relating to their stock, stock transfers, enrollment and dividends.
- Research stock dividends. Issue stop payments and reissue dividends upon verification, reconciliation of dividend accounts.
- Maintain confidential files, records and data information pertaining to shareholder records.
- Assimilate, distribute and process documents, materials and other records related to corporate stock and shareholders.
- Perform data entry.
- Assist with dividend mail outs and annual meeting preparation.
- Assist employees with any technical problems and inform IT of any issues with computers.
- Change out audio tapes every Monday and check servers for any issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- N/A
Education/Knowledge and/or Experience:
- One year clerical, computer, accounting and/or public relations experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Advance knowledge, understanding and sensitivity to the lnupiat culture.
- Ability to speak and understand the Inupiaq language is important and preferred
- Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to shareholders and other employees of the corporation.
