As a part of the Partnerships Development team, you will be heart of this mission, responsible for building and nurturing the partner ecosystem that helps public sector clients become more productive, mobile, and collaborative.
As a key member of this team, you will be on the front line, shaping our engagement strategy with partners in support of the Department of Defense, armed with your sharp business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you will be instrumental in helping our partners-and their customers-grow by leveraging Google's newest and most innovative product offerings.
In this role, you will forge and deepen business relationships by analyzing partner performance, identifying opportunities for mutual growth, and pitching innovative ideas. You will co-ordinate across internal Google teams to ensure seamless execution and educate our partners on the power of Google Cloud, empowering them to deliver groundbreaking solutions. You will be the central point of contact, driving our joint success and accelerating digital transformation for our nation's defense.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$209,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Experience working with SaaS and cloud computing solutions in a Channel Sales/Partner-oriented role.
- Experience in a direct selling or channel sales role in the US Public Sector vertical.
- Active, or the ability to obtain, a Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Experience with Public Sector partner ecosystems, agile partners, Global System Integrators (GSIs), System Integrators (SIs), or Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
- Experience presenting to multiple audiences including leadership and C-suite teams with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in and through a cross-functional organization with excellent management skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive route-to-market strategy for the U.S. Navy segment, ensuring seamless alignment with the overarching sales go-to-market plan.
- Identify and align the ideal Google partner for each sales opportunity, while proactively sourcing new business through various partner ecosystem.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on our partner ecosystem for the sales team, providing critical insights into partner capabilities and industry alignment.
- Collaborate with partner marketing to drive demand generation activities, including events and campaigns, to build a sales pipeline.
- Foster collaboration between sales, partner management, and our partners to develop and execute joint business plans.
