Help
- You will serve as the Lead Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for the Intermediate Level Quality Assurance Program (IMA QA).
- You will prevent defects, identify deficiencies, and ensure that all maintenance work is performed in accordance with established standards, specifications, and procedures.
- You will be responsible for the proper and efficient use of all assigned resources (personnel, funding, and equipment) to execute and achieve Division goals.
- You will instruct employees in the selection of proper problem solving methods, techniques, provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures, and assist the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution.
- You will research, learn and apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products.
- You will make decisions on problems presented by team members. This often involves interpretation of higher authority policy.
- You will serve as the Quality Assurance Officer who manages and provides technical direction for the Intermediate Level Quality Assurance Program
- You will be the technical expert responsible for the correct interpretation and application of Intermediate Level Quality Assurance required by Naval Sea System Command directives and higher-level instructions from Fleet and Type Commanders.
- You will be responsible for determining need, planning and development of command quality assurance instructions for the application and implementation of instructions and requirements.
- You will be responsible as an authority of the command for providing consistency through technical directives to assure explicit guidance in the review of work packages.
- You will manage the Quality Assurance training program, which provides in-house training to personnel in surveillance inspection and audit techniques as well as Ship's Force Training.
- You will evaluate the Intermediate Level Quality Assurance Program and make recommendations to management.
- You will ensure the execution of audits and surveillances of various production shop processes internal to the government as required.
- You will schedule and participate in Quality Management System Audits of the industrial base as required by higher-level directives.
