Key Responsibilities
Executive & Front Office Operations
- Support senior leadership by coordinating priority initiatives, taskers, and executive workflows across technical, operational, and governance teams
- Draft, consolidate, and manage responses to leadership taskers, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery
- Partner with front-office staff to manage priority engagements, deconflict schedules, and maintain operational rhythm
- Prepare executive-level briefings, pre-reads, meeting packets, and leadership materials aligned to established narratives and expectations
- Plan and support governance forums and leadership meetings, ensuring professional readiness of meeting environments (in-person and virtual)
- Capture structured meeting notes that clearly document decisions, action items, risks, and ownership
- Maintain centralized tracking of commitments, deadlines, dependencies, and follow-ups to ensure accountability and execution
- Establish and sustain disciplined reporting cadences, dashboards, and workflow standards
- Coordinate across matrixed technical, programmatic, and operational teams during ongoing transformation and modernization efforts
- Translate complex technical or procedural updates into clear, actionable communications for diverse audiences
- Support workforce-related initiatives, including return-to-office execution, workforce tracking, and alignment with federal policy
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and misalignment early, escalating with sound judgment and recommended paths forward
- Serve as a liaison across internal teams, government stakeholders, and external partners supporting transformation initiatives
- Balance advisory input, leadership priorities, and execution demands to maintain momentum and delivery
- Provide matrixed oversight to analysts and contributors, ensuring quality, discipline, and follow-through without direct supervisory authority
Successful candidates typically have:
- Direct experience supporting senior leaders through sensitive or ambiguous situations involving competing priorities
- Hands-on ownership of leadership taskers, governance forums, and executive workflows, not just coordination in name
- Experience operating inside large-scale federal transformations, reorganizations, or integrations
- Comfort working alongside consulting or advisory partners while remaining execution-focused and grounded in leadership priorities
- Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate independently in high-pressure environments
- 5-7+ years of experience supporting senior executives, PMOs, Chief of Staff functions, or front-office operations in government, defense, consulting, or health IT environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows, competing priorities, and multiple simultaneous initiatives
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including production of polished executive materials
- Strong stakeholder engagement and matrix leadership capability
- Ability to work onsite in Rosslyn, VA five days per week
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance or CAC
- Experience supporting federal health IT, defense, or enterprise-scale transformation programs
- Background working in environments with significant organizational change or modernization
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Prosci (ADKAR), or similar certifications
- Prior experience supporting Program Executive Offices (PEOs) or equivalent leadership structures
- Support senior federal leadership on high-impact health IT initiatives
- Operate in a role with real visibility, influence, and accountability
