Overview

Agensys Corporation is seeking an Operations Watch Technician to support a mission-critical Cyber Support Center (CySC) environment. This role is responsible for real-time monitoring of network and system operations, incident detection, and coordination with production work centers to ensure operational continuity.

This is an onsite position supporting a long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) program within a secure federal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the operational status of enterprise networks and systems using monitoring tools such as SCOM and SolarWinds
• Detect, analyze, and report system anomalies, outages, and performance degradations
• Open, track, and manage incident tickets in accordance with operational procedures
• Communicate outages, incidents, and status updates to production work centers and stakeholders
• Escalate issues to appropriate technical teams based on severity and impact
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation of events and actions taken during shift
• Support continuity of operations through adherence to established watch floor processes and protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• Experience in a network operations, operations watch, NOC, or similar monitoring environment
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, SolarWinds, or equivalent)
• Experience opening and managing incident or service tickets
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
• Willingness to work a swing shift in an onsite, secure facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting federal or DoD IT operations
• Exposure to cyber operations centers, network operations centers (NOC), or command/watch floor environments
• Understanding of ITIL-based incident management processes
