Budget Analyst Support Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (Chamblee, GA)
Pay Rate: $27.00 - $32.00/hour
The ASPR SNS program is seeking one (1) Budget Analyst Support Specialist resource who will provide support to the Division of Strategic National Stockpile (DSNS) at the Atlanta, GA location. 10% travel may be required.
Education and Experience:
1.1 Background
The Center of Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) manages and maintains the Assistant Preparedness and Response (ASPR)'s Strategic National Stockpile, the national repository of critical medicines, medical supplies, and medical equipment established to protect the American public if there is a public health emergency severe enough to cause local supplies to run out. The division procures and ensures that medical assets are stored and managed at the highest level of the Food and Drug Administration's current Good Manufacturing Practices, and delivers these assets, which are designed to supplement state and local public health agencies in the event of a large-scale public health emergency in the United States or its territories. During such a national emergency, the DSNS may deploy a team of advisors to provide technical assistance to the state(s) receiving the stockpile medical assets.
DSNS Mission Statement: Prepare and support partners and provide the right resources at the right time to secure the nation's health.
DSNS Vision Statement: To be the nation's premier medical materiel preparedness and response organization.

- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus the following:
- A minimum five (5) years of budget analytical experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Physical Demands / Surroundings - The duties of this position may require the individual to exert some physical effort. Lifting requirements may vary dependent of the QA area assigned. Weight is typically no more than 25 pounds.

Task 1: Budget Analyst Specialist
- The vendor shall provide services in support of the following functions. The vendor shall:
- Assist in accounting reconciliation actions for U. S. Governmental logistics operations.
- Perform research by gathering facts, synthesizing data for interpretation and analysis.
- Assist in reconcile accounting records from purchases from Contracts, Task Orders, IAAs and Credit Cards.
- Review, examine, verify, compare and analyze for validity, completeness and accuracy all invoices, packing slips, purchase orders and purchase requests in comparison to reports provided by the inventory and financial management systems reports.
- Assist to resolve financial issues and make recommended corrective actions to the inventory management system.
- Support in planning, organizing, and assisting in the development, production, deployment and the integration of financial support of systems, supplies, equipment and services.
- Maintain files of all source documents, correspondences and messages pertaining to financial records and accounting data.
- Perform data entry as approved by the government to maintain inventory and financial records.
- Assist in performing other accounting research and/or reconciliation duties as assigned.
- Reconcile material purchases for U.S. Governmental Agency by synthesizing vendor invoice information and inventory and financial management systems reports.
- Provide monthly status reports.
- Analyze to determine trends and provide recommendations to improve or change operational processes with may affect a national program.
- Assist in providing technical advice and assistance in the execution of daily financial requirements.
