Position Summary

The Microsoft Power Platform Developer supports the Enterprise Intelligence and Data Solutions Program Management Office by building and maintaining reporting, applications, and automation that help leadership understand performance, manage portfolios, and make informed decisions.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role centered on using Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to connect data across systems, transform information into actionable insights, and streamline workflows. The work supports portfolio management activities aligned with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), emphasizing practical solutions that directly support program operations and leadership visibility.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with an understanding of how reporting and automation tools are used by program teams in real-world decision environments.
Key Responsibilities
Power BI Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards using multiple enterprise data sources
• Integrate Power BI with Azure DevOps and other systems to support portfolio and execution reporting
• Perform data transformation, modeling, and validation to ensure reliability
• Create visualizations that translate complex data into actionable leadership insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine dashboards as reporting needs evolve

Power Apps Development

• Design and develop advanced Power Apps solutions
• Enhance and maintain applications supporting portfolio and workflow management
• Manage development backlogs and deliver iterative improvements
• Integrate Power Apps with Power BI, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, and related platforms

Power Automate & Workflow Automation

• Develop automation workflows that connect systems and streamline operations
• Reduce manual effort and improve process consistency
• Design maintainable automation aligned with operational needs

Azure DevOps Integration

• Use Azure DevOps as a key reporting data source
• Develop dashboards supporting portfolio tracking and performance measurement
• Apply technical understanding of DevOps data structures to reporting design

SAFe & Portfolio Support

• Align dashboards and applications with SAFe portfolio concepts
• Support leadership visibility into priorities, capacity, schedules, and delivery
• Ensure solutions are practical and relevant to program execution

Collaboration & Enablement

• Work with program teams and leadership to gather requirements
• Document solutions to support adoption
• Assist teams transitioning to new reporting and automation tools

Basic Job Requirements

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions in enterprise environments
• Experience building Power BI dashboards using multiple data sources
• Experience integrating Azure DevOps with Power BI reporting
• Working knowledge of SAFe portfolio and execution concepts
• Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities
• U.S. Citizen
