As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor flow, respond to concerns with calm communication, and document activity using site technology. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct individuals to the appropriate check-in and/or delivery processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, alarms, and/or suspicious activity, and notify Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.
• Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate notable events during shift transitions, and support site investigations by preserving observations and maintaining confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
