Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Rounds in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will complete routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and/or perimeter points; observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns that may impact operations.
• Control access by verifying identification and/or credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, directing visitors to proper check-in, and supporting visitor management and badge compliance per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical events, and/or other site disruptions, and notify appropriate contacts as required.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and communication with site stakeholders and/or emergency responders in accordance with policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
