Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer - Secret position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for hardware design from requirements analysis through schematic capture, managing of layout constraints, supporting PWB layout, manufacturing, and integration & test. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Position: Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer - Secret
Contract: 24 months or longer
Pay: $86.34/hour
Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire

Role and Position Objectives:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for hardware design from requirements analysis through schematic capture, managing of layout constraints, supporting PWB layout, manufacturing, and integration & test.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: High speed circuit card design incorporating embedded processors or FPGAs, Advanced memory devices and storage protocols, Design for Electromagnetic Compliance (EMC).

Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and active Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire.

  • Expert-level understanding of hardware development processes throughout the lifecycle of the program or project
  • Experience with circuit card design using advanced materials and packaging techniques
  • Working knowledge of the Mentor tools Suite for schematic entry, constraint manager, HyperLynx SI/PI analysis
  • Collaborative, creative thinker with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
  • Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to drive innovation and secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
