Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain functional and technical specifications for CWL systems.
- Ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and delivered to support customer reviews and system development.
- Address system-level topics such as payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, message exchanges, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design, integration, and test activities.
- Prepare documentation and participate in technical reviews to ensure compliance with program standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 3 years.
- Agile experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and modeling tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with computer system architectures, cybersecurity, Linux, and embedded operating systems.
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in defense-related engineering roles.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, Linux administration, and embedded systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to complex technical environments.
- Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire.
- Applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Primarily on-site with potential for part-time remote work after 6 months.
- On-site work is at the Innovation Drive, Manassas, VA facility.
