Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mission critical full stack applications (Java/React) for cybersecurity and key management workflows.
• Implement scalable RESTful services, database models, and frontend components aligned with DoD standards.
• Write unit/integration tests; drive code quality, secure coding, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product, security, and systems teams to refine requirements and deliver features to production.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies; contribute architecture and design documentation; support readiness and security reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 3 years.
• Experience working in Agile/Scaled Agile environments.
• Strong command of Java (including enterprise patterns) and React/JavaScript.
• Database experience (SQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (e.g., Hibernate).
• Familiarity with Spring ecosystem (Boot, Data, Security).
• Solid understanding of secure software practices and defensive programming.
• Excellent problem?solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Clearance Requirements

• Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire.
• Applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills

• WildFly or similar Java application servers.
• Designing and consuming REST APIs; familiarity with RESTCONF interfaces.
• Material UI and modern React patterns (hooks, state management).
• Knowledge of PKI, digital certificates, secure key handling.
• Experience with SNMP for monitoring/management integrations.
