Our DOD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Shipping Associate position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role you'll support outbound shipping and logistics operations within a secure defense manufacturing environment. To be considered, you must have at least a High School Diploma plus a minimum of 2 years of related shipping, logistics, or materials experience.

Contract: 12 months or longer
Pay: $21.39/hour
Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical hardware components for weapons and navigation systems, ensuring compliance with performance and reliability standards.
  • Perform schematic capture and circuit design, incorporating FPGA integration, high-speed memory interfaces, and digital communication links.
  • Create and support PCB/PWB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools, ensuring manufacturability and testability.
  • Support hardware bring-up, troubleshoot issues, and validate hardware performance through laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with electrical, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to align designs with system requirements and constraints.
  • Implement digital interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and SDIO, ensuring seamless integration within complex hardware systems.
  • Assist in preparing technical documentation, design reviews, and validation reports to support development lifecycle phases.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in electrical hardware design for high-reliability applications.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of schematic capture and PCB/PWB layout design
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens Xpedition or similar EDA tools
  • Expertise in designing complex electrical hardware with FPGAs, high-speed memory interfaces (DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR4), and digital communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and SDIO
  • Proficiency in laboratory test equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Ability to support hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and validation activities
  • U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of work within secure facilities

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience in design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for test (DFT)
  • Knowledge of high-speed interface design and advanced materials for PCB/PWB
  • Familiarity with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Mentorship experience with junior engineers

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of industry experience in electrical hardware design for complex systems, preferably in defense or aerospace sectors

Other Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to security clearance requirements
  • Some travel may be required for equipment validation, testing, or collaboration purposes
