- You will serve as the subject matter expert for software quality regarding defect analysis and tracking within the AEGIS Weapon System and related computer programs.
- You will utilize established methodologies to identify, document, and monitor defects throughout the software development lifecycle to improve software quality and reliability.
- You will provide technical assistance to all organizations involved in developing AEGIS Weapon System software for all Baselines including: providing interpretation of specifications, methods, processes, tests, and resolution of design problems.
- You will serve as a consultant and advisor for the sponsor organization in applying concepts, principles, and processes for life cycle technical knowledge of various systems, subsystems, equipment, and procedures for AEGIS Weapon System software.
- You will participate in all development activities conducted under the Combat System Engineering Agent's (CSEA's) Computer Program Standard (CPS) and System Integrated Engineering Processes (SIEPs) including: Engineering Technical Reviews (ETRs).
- You will also participate in Change Review Boards (CRBs), Problem Review Boards (PRBs), Software Implementation Boards (SIBs), Governance Boards, Change Control Boards (CCBs), and Senior Change Control Boards (SCCBs).
- You will participate in the Cross Product Teams (CPTs), Boards and other working groups and Demos including but not limited to: Sprint Demos, CSL Combined CPT, Joint Engineering Review Team (JERT).
- You will maintain and participate in the development of defect backlog lists for all In-Service and Maintenance AWS Baselines utilizing AEGIS TECHREP digital engineering and CSEA tools.
- You will work in conjunction with sponsors to collaborate on efforts being completed at the Forge supporting AWS and Integrated Combat System (ICS).
- You will accept requirements from the sponsor, translate those requirements into an actionable Work Breakdown Structure, delegate work items to contractor and engineers, and organize/deliver finished products that meet the sponsor's needs.
- You will manage funding from sponsor to execute engineering support services tasking.
