Job Description

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Clearance Required in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document and report activity, and provide strong customer service and communication to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including offices, common areas, and exterior perimeters, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and direct visitors, deliveries, and contractors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed by site policy.
• Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate security-related information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
