Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert in defined business processes and systems. This role is responsible for formulating system scope and objectives aligned with organizational business plans, DoD acquisition policies, and industry requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will work as part of an integrated project team, providing technical guidance on the business implications of system and application solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and document business processes, system requirements, and functional objectives in support of DoD programs
• Formulate system scope and objectives aligned with organizational strategy, acquisition policies, and mission needs
• Provide technical guidance on the business impact of system design, implementation, and integration decisions
• Support DoD lifecycle management activities in accordance with DoD 5000 series policies
• Develop and support reporting artifacts using DAMIR formats, including DAES and OSD reports
• Support planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) processes
• Utilize systems engineering and process modeling tools to support analysis and documentation
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and government stakeholders to support successful program execution

Required Qualifications

• Four (4) years of relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a closely related role
• Project Management certification (PMP or other equivalent, nationally recognized project management or relevant certification)
• Demonstrated experience supporting DoD lifecycle management activities
• Working knowledge of DoD acquisition policies, including DoD 5000.01, DoD 5000.02, and the DoD 5000 Guidebook
• Experience supporting Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
• Experience using ARIS or similar systems engineering / process modeling tools
• Experience developing and supporting DAMIR reporting artifacts, including DAES and OSD reports
• Experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint
