Systems Administrator - Senior II

PRISM Inc. is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Systems Administrator to join our technical services team in supporting a mission-critical federal program. In this role, you will maintain the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform, providing essential application maintenance and incident support. You will be a key contributor to software releases, delivering configuration tasks and features that enable our mission partners to achieve strategic operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve incidents across ServiceNow applications to maintain platform reliability.
• Perform routine maintenance, including performance monitoring and error identification/remediation.
• Manage the creation, testing, and migration of Update Sets across the development lifecycle.
• Schedule, execute, and verify instance clones to maintain environment parity.
• Participate in the planning, testing, and execution of ServiceNow platform upgrades.
• Manage Instance Security, including User/Group access, Roles, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• Contribute technical expertise to scheduled ServiceNow releases and feature updates.
• Adhere to internal standards, security policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications:

• Clearance: Active Secret clearance (Must be eligible for upgrade to TS/SCI).
• Ability to obtain specialized agency suitability/fitness as required.
• Experience: 6+ years of professional systems administration experience.
• ServiceNow Focus: 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations.
• Core Applications: 2+ years of experience with Incident, Problem, Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog.
• Strong foundational knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow platform administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Substitution: Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree-level education.

Preferred:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification.
• ITIL Foundation v4 Certification (or willingness to complete within one year of hire).
• DoD 8570.1-M Compliance (IAT Level I or higher).
• Experience supporting Federal Law Enforcement, Defense, or Intelligence mission partners.
• Experience with process development and workflow deployment.
• Technical proficiency in JavaScript and Angular JS.
• Experience with ServiceNow Development APIs and Web Service Integration (API Web Services).
• Familiarity with LDAP Integration and Single Sign-on (SSO) configuration/administration.
• Basic proficiency with SQL for data management.
• Familiarity with specialized ServiceNow modules: ITx, HR, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, Security, Asset Management (HAM/SAM), PPM, Portal/UI, and GRC.
