Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
  • Develop front-end and backend code for a cloud-based application
  • Programming using ASP.NET, C#, and Angular or other languages
  • Assists in designing, developing, testing, and implementing of software programs for computer-based systems
  • Assists in designing, developing, testing, and implementing of software programs
  • Assists in analyzing user's software program needs and assists in troubleshooting
  • Assists in the design and development of software using basic compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
  • May advise hardware design engineers on machine characteristics that affect software systems
  • May provide input for documentation of new or existing programs

Required Experience

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, programs and spreadsheet, and database programs
  • Experience with C#, Python, C++, JavaScript, Java, SQL, HTML, CSS programming languages
  • Military and DoD experience is required
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance after start

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current/Active or previously held DoD SECRET security clearance
  • Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, JQuery, Bootstrap frameworks and libraries is highly preferred
  • Experience with Github, SQL Server, Jira, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code tools and platforms is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and version control best practices is highly preferred
  • Military background/experience is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience/familiarity with military equipment such as communications and weapons systems is highly preferred
