Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary expert and advisor on digital engineering practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Develop and implement strategies to integrate Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital twins, and advanced simulation tools into engineering workflows.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of digital engineering platforms and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital engineering initiatives with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship and training to engineering teams to enhance their digital engineering proficiency.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization remains competitive.
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and processes for digital engineering.
Qualifications:
- US citizenship and a secret level security clearance is required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in digital engineering, systems engineering, or related discipline.
- Deep expertise in MBSE tools and frameworks (e.g., Cameo, Enterprise Architect, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong understanding of digital twin technology, data integration, and cloud-based solutions.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in systems engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP) or related fields.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles in digital engineering environments.
