Zachary Piper is seeking a dual-skill Subject Matter Expert to provide master scheduling and visual communications support for initiatives under the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management & Comptroller. This role develops and manages program schedules and produces executive-level visual products for senior leadership. Works closely with a small, integrated project team in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Requirements
Active Secret clearance (required for this role)
Expert proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera P6
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and PowerPoint
Strong project management and critical path analysis capabilities
Ability to translate complex technical data into clear executive-level visuals
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Onsite work required at Pentagon/Arlington, VA
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain integrated master schedules for ASA(FM&C) programs
Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessment, and resource leveling
Coordinate with project managers and functional leads on dependencies and milestones
Generate schedule variance reports and identify risks or delays
Lead and support schedule integration meetings
Maintain schedule baselines and manage formal change processes
Create executive-ready presentations, infographics, and visual products
Develop organizational charts, process flows, dashboards, and timeline graphics
Maintain branding consistency and adhere to DoD standards
Support rapid-turnaround briefing materials and decision packages
Manage visual asset and schedule documentation repositories (e.g., SharePoint)
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Business, or related field
8+ years combined experience in project scheduling and graphic design (DoD/federal experience preferred)
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex program schedules
Professional portfolio showcasing executive-level design work
PMP certification preferred; Adobe certifications a plus
Experience supporting Army, DoD, or financial management programs is beneficial
Position Details
Duration: 6-9 months with potential extension
