Description:The candidate will serve as the Quality functional lead for programs within the Enterprise Mission Command & Control (EMC2) and Ground CEW programs within the Radars, Electronic Warfare & Acoustic Systems (REAS) and Enterprise Mission Command & Control (EMC2) submarket segments.
This position will also serve as the Valley Forge Site Quality Lead and report up through Quality functional senior leadership within the Mission Integrated Command & Control (MIC2) and Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems lines of business.
Responsibilities include Program Quality, Production Quality, Engineering Quality, Supplier Quality, Software Quality and Inspection. The candidate will be responsible for executing and implementing all Quality and LOB strategies and objectives to achieve mission success.
This includes but is not limited to ensuring flow-down and execution of all Quality Contract requirements and Quality functional support to all programs within the market segments throughout the program life cycle from proposals, through production and sustainment.
The candidate will provide leadership through identification and implementation of process improvement efforts, as well as cross-functional collaboration, in the corresponding RMS Quality initiatives including but not limited to:
Root Cause Analysis, Digital Transformation, 1LMX Quality, Engineering Quality including Systems, Software, and Hardware Quality Engineering, Data Analytics, and Design & Development and Supplier Quality teaming.
This role is also accountable for establishing, performing and managing annual budgets, headcount, DCI%, capital requests, Quality metrics, employee growth and development, employee performance and training requirements.
Scope:
Employee Population: This position is directly responsible for leading the Quality team primarily located within the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania facility but may extend to other RMS sites as necessary.
Primary Customers/External Interaction: Key interface and establishment of effective relationships with all corresponding Customer Oversight Agencies (i.e. DCMA), Program and Functional FLMs, Directors, and VPs.
Key Cross-LOB or Functional Partnerships/Touchpoints: Key interface with SEMS/MIC2 LOB, Production Operations, Engineering & Technology, Supply Chain, and RMS Quality leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability of working with cross-functional partners such as Program Management, Supply Chain management, SW Development, Engineering, etc..
Demonstrated Leadership skills with ability to manage both technical and personnel aspects with cross functional collaboration. Proven knowledge of Quality Engineering principles and philosophies. Experience in either the development or supporting role of strategic planning and management of Quality Engineering estimates and execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Complex data analysis skills with proven collaboration with Customers and cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
Applied Software Quality in an agile environment
Program management and EV awareness
Experience with Contract and CDRL interpretation and distillation into standard work
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
