WHAT WE'RE DOING
Sikorsky Innovations Special Programs is seeking a highly motivated Radar Cross Section Analyst to support the development of low observable technologies for advanced aerospace and defense platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong electromagnetic (EM) fundamentals with hands on experience in RCS modeling, simulation, and test validation.
THE WORK
As a key member of our Radar team, you will:
• Conduct Electromagnetic Modeling & Simulations.
• Develop and execute RCS predictions using CEM tools (e.g., Xpatch, Sentri, Ansys HFSS, In-house Method of Moments codes).
• Generate and maintain detailed CAD/geometry models for analysis.
• Conduct Data Reduction & Test Support.
• Process and interpret measured/predicted RCS data; compare against design goals and iteratively improve the technical solution.
• Coordinate test planning, execution, and post test analysis for range and laboratory measurements.
• Design Low Observable Optimization
• Apply electro physics and radar theory concepts to formulate design level trade studies.
• Recommend geometry, material, and coating modifications to reduce radar signature.
• Compile Technical Documentation & Reporting
• Produce clear technical reports, briefings, and data packages for internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Work within interdisciplinary teams (structures, materials, radar, software) and provide technical leadership on RCS related tasks.
This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain a Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.

Basic Qualifications:
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline.
• 2+ years of full time RCS analysis, radar design, or radar test & evaluation.
• Strong foundation in electromagnetics, scattering theory, and radar fundamentals.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or C++ for data processing and scripting.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and CAD software.
Desired Skills:
• M.S. in a relevant field.
• Direct experience with low observable (LO) technology development for aerospace platforms.
• Hands on involvement in radar system design, operation, or Radar integration & test (I&T).
• Knowledge of signature reduction techniques (shaping, RAM, or others).
• Publications or conference presentations in RCS or related EM topics.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
