Strong resiliency-focused engineering is essential to protecting Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) platform/weapon systems from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

THE WORK
In this role you have the responsibility of learning about the Trident program and working with the Trident cybersecurity team developing and implementing cybersecurity solutions.

The successful candidate should have one or more of the required skills:
- Professional or military experience with cybersecurity (defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks)
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in one of the following disciplines : Computer or Cybersecurity from an accredited college with 1+ years of related professional experience.

- Professional or military experience performing cybersecurity or information assurance tasks (vulnerability scans and assessments).

- Professional or military experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.

- Security+ certification.

- Must be a US citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Professional experience creating and reviewing cybersecurity artifacts needed to obtain an Authorization To Operate (ATO).

- Professional experience with with Risk Mangement Frameworrk (RMF).

- Professional experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).

- Professional expeience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).

- Experience with virtual machines (VMware).

- Professional experience managing systems and networks.

- Active Secret/Top Secret clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

The base range for this position in New York is $83,125.70 - $139,108.97.

The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
