What You Will Be Doing
The Customer Requirements, Enduring Programs - Capture Management role plays a critical part in shaping the future of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics' Skunk Works ISR portfolio. This position partners closely with internal leadership and U.S. Government stakeholders to drive business growth across enduring programs, legacy systems, and emerging ISR capabilities. You'll serve as a trusted subject matter expert on ISR operational requirements, helping translate customer needs into winning strategies, compelling value propositions, and successful capture efforts.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, you'll support market development, opportunity qualification, and proposal activities while strengthening long-term customer relationships that enable mission success.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and business development support for the Skunk Works ISR portfolio, including enduring programs, legacy system sustainment, and new capability integration
- Manage and execute New Business Funds (NBF) and support O&M strategies for existing platforms
- Serve as the subject matter expert for ISR customer requirements and operational needs
- Engage U.S. Government and DoD stakeholders to communicate Lockheed Martin Aeronautics' value proposition
- Lead and support customer engagements, industry days, and executive-level meetings
- Drive market development activities, opportunity identification, and competitive intelligence
- Support capture planning, pricing strategies, and proposal development efforts
- Coordinate across engineering, program management, finance, and leadership teams to align customer needs with business objectives

You are a strategic thinker with deep operational insight into military ISR missions and platforms. You bring credibility with customers, confidence engaging senior leaders, and the ability to connect operational needs to business solutions. Ideally, you have command or senior operational experience with ISR aircraft-preferably unmanned systems-and have served in senior staff roles where executive communication and cross-functional coordination were key to success.

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen - This position is located at a facility that requires special access
• Bachelors degree required with 15 years of related experience.
• Experience crafting presentations for senior management and customers.
• Experience with USG Special Access Program contracting processes and acquisition strategies.
• Experience working across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions and leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions.
• Must be able to obtain Top Secret Clearance with SAP/SAR/SCI (with CI POLY) accesses.
• 15 years experience in operations, acquisition and/or requirements development in or with the US Navy.
• Must be able to travel.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of the Department of War Acquisition Process, Budgeting flow and timelines, and Requirements Development pathway.
• Knowledge of US military organizational construct.
• Knowledge of US military operational doctrine.
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics' product line is a requirement.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
