Torch Technologies is seeking a Business Administrator to support the financial, administrative, and operational activities of large and/or complex Department of War (DoW) programs. This role provides critical support to Program Managers by managing budgets, interpreting contracts, coordinating facilities and logistics, and serving as a primary customer interface for business and administrative matters.

As a Business Administrator, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
  • Support day-to-day financial and administrative operations for complex programs, organizations, or proposals.
  • Participate in budget development, forecasting, and execution.
  • Monitor program budgets and may authorize expenditures in accordance with established procedures.
  • Recommend and implement procedures to track and monitor program performance.
  • Interpret and implement cost proposal estimating, pricing, and documentation requirements
  • Define parameters and inputs for cost estimate preparation as needed.
  • Serve as a front-line business contact to customers in support of the Program Manager
  • Coordinate facilities, logistics, and operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government contract requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare and maintain required program documentation and reports,
  • Provide work leadership and guidance to lower-level administrative staff, as applicable.
  • Support audits, reviews, and program management activities.


Required Qualifications
  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract interpretation, budget development, and administration of government projects. Year of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience supporting DoW or other government programs.
  • Strong understanding of program financial and administrative processes.
  • Active Secret Clearance.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with program teams.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


Work Environment:
  • Customer site.
  • Collaboration with Program Managers and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Occasional travel may be required to support program needs.
