Torch Technologies is seeking a Lead System Support Representative at Eglin AFB, FL to support the 28th Test and Evaluation Squadron.
As a Lead System Support Representative your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- C onducts Operational Tests (OT) on various government aircrew flight planning tools. Operational Testing team members build mission planning suites and then test the associated mission planning software for suitability and effectiveness in the conduct of government aircraft operations.
- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with these specific projects with a look toward flight operations of these platforms. The selected candidate will collaborate with the USAF Mission Planning Test enterprise team.
- Perform systems administration and technical management of Windows workstations and servers to include configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems used solely for testing activities by the mission planning division.
- M aintain the computer lab, storage safes, software, and diagram drawings in accordance with government regulations and direction from management personnel.
- M aintain documentation of Mission Planning Equipment Inventory, End of Life cycle, Forms 701, 702, 1297, DLP whitelist waivers and Tempest Diagram
- P erform LAN maintenance and troubleshooting within the mission planning test laboratories as required for operational testing activities. The test time complexity runs from system administrator setup to detailed discrepancy analysis. 80% require detailed software validation/analysis and 20% of the work effort requires complex technical document preparation.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bac h elor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of OT Mission Planning experience.
- Meet the requirements for and maintain an IAT or IAM Level II certification by possessing at least one of the following:
- CEH
- CFR
- Cloud+
- GSEC
- PenTest+
- Security+
- SSCP
- Must have and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Eligibility Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Familiarity and experience installing/working with Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and/or Portable Flight Planning System (PFPS) software.
