MANTECH seeks a highly experienced and mission-focused Application Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD.
As an Application Engineer on our team. You'll work in a collaborative environment focused on solving complex technical challenges in support of our customers' most critical missions.

As an Application Engineer on our team. You'll work in a collaborative environment focused on solving complex technical challenges in support of our customers' most critical missions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop software-based capabilities
- Assists with the development, documentation, testing, and debugging of applications software and systems
- Ensure software engineering standards are consistently met
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 4+ years of technical work experience, or BS Degree in a technical discipline
- Experience in Python
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with networking (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming
- Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering
- Understanding of assembly programming concepts
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Crucible
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph and be willing and able to obtain another polygraph prior to start.
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to remain stationary up to 50% of the time
