Overview
LMI is seeking a skilled Management Analyst to support a Customs and Border Protection customer. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate travel and trade.
This position is located in Washington, DC, and cannot be worked remotely.
The analyst will support daily logistics functions, onboarding coordination, personnel tracking, knowledge management support, and records management activities. Primary responsibilities include coordinating Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) issuance, supporting onboarding logistics, maintaining personnel tracking data, supporting SharePoint knowledge management resources, assisting with records management activities, and providing general office logistics support. The contractor must be present on-site five days per week and consistently demonstrate a professional, customer service-focused approach in all interactions.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
Logistics and Equipment Support
- Coordinate issuance of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) (e.g., laptops, monitors, phones) to federal employees and contractors as directed.
- Maintain documentation and accountability tracking for all GFE issued.
- Provide professional, customer-focused support to staff receiving equipment.
- Coordinate with property and logistics personnel as needed (contractor will not serve as Lead Property Officer).
Onboarding and Personnel Support
- Support onboarding activities by following established SOPs and coordinating with IT, HR, Security, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate first-day logistics.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for onboarding logistics questions.
- Maintain personnel tracking tools documenting staff gains, losses, and status updates.
- Provide periodic personnel reports to leadership as requested.
Knowledge Management and SharePoint Support
- Support SharePoint site development and maintenance, including document storage, collaboration tools, and tracking solutions.
- Support development and maintenance of SOPs, onboarding guides, process documentation, and FAQs.
- Assist with document organization, archiving, and version control.
- Support knowledge sharing and staff access to critical information resources.
Records Management Support
- Support records management activities in accordance with DHS, CBP, USBP, and federal records management policies.
- Assist with records classification, storage, retrieval, archiving, and disposition activities.
- Support audits and records compliance reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality and protection of sensitive information.
General Office and Logistics Support
- Maintain on-site presence five days per week during standard business hours.
- Provide administrative and logistical support including scheduling support, coordination of office logistics, and document preparation.
- Support office supply inventory and tracking.
- Assist with document preparation, copying, scanning, and filing.
- Support day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth execution of SPAD activities.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, logistics, management, information management, or related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft collaboration and data tools.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience supporting logistics operations, equipment issuance tracking, or property accountability processes.
- Experience supporting onboarding coordination and personnel tracking.
- Experience supporting knowledge management activities, including SharePoint site maintenance and document control.
- Familiarity with federal records management requirements, compliance expectations, and audit support activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Customer service-oriented approach supporting internal stakeholders.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience supporting CBP, DHS, or other federal government programs.
- Experience supporting logistics or administrative operations in a federal environment.
- Experience supporting onboarding, knowledge management, or records management in a federal organization.
- Experience supporting equipment issuance, asset tracking, or logistics coordination functions.
