The Command Technology Officer, a GS-2210-15 IT Specialist, reporting to the Command Information Officer within the Command Information Office, at CNIC Headquarters. This position is not a remote position, it is located at the Washington Navy Yard and is eligible for ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Occasional travel may be expected for this position.
The CNIC HQ Command Information Office is an evolving and growing organization. The focus of this position is to provide enterprise-level leadership, strategy, and governance for CNIC's IT/OT and cybersecurity portfolio, ensuring alignment of technology investments, policies, and capabilities with CNIC's mission and strategic objectives. The Deputy CIO drives integration, modernization, and risk-informed decision-making across the global CNIC enterprise.
This announcement uses the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the DoD/ Modified to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.

- You will create integration plans and develop IT roadmaps describing the technical processes.
- You will draft and implement policies addressing agency-wide IT initiatives.
