Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location as an armed, driving patrol professional. You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication and customer-focused support. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access control points and conduct security-related screening consistent with site requirements, including verifying credentials, controlling entry and exit, and documenting visitor activity.
• Maintain readiness and accountability of assigned equipment and issued firearm in accordance with Allied Universal training, post orders, and applicable laws, including completing detailed incident and patrol reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a guard card/license preferred.
• Possess pepper spray certification preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
