Job Title: Supply Chain Management Analyst
Location: 100% on site in Kennedy Space Center, FL
This position is for 2nd shift however, candidates must be willing to work any shift as required.
Contract Duration: 12+ Months with possibility to Extension

Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our dynamic team in a pivotal role. This position is expected to be 100% onsite, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Kennedy Space Center location. This role is for the 2nd shift; however, candidates must be willing to work any shift as required. The position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. This is a public trust clearance and can be obtained post start.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
  • Experience in supply chain or materials management
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or customer service environment
  • Experience using Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Production Control and Material Management processes


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with spacecraft/aircraft factory manufacturing, quality, and inventory/production control processes and tools (planning, MRP, BOMs, etc.)
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Apply Supply Chain Management methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
  • Analyze complex material requirements and verify Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan
  • Initiate, coordinate, and authorize release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability
  • Ensure on-time delivery and document and resolve order delinquencies
  • Develop and control inventory plans, optimize inventory levels, and analyze excess inventories
  • Implement and maintain process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
  • Work under general direction
