Job Summary

This position will perform financial reporting and analysis for the companies handled in the Service Center - InDyne and Reliance Test & Technologies. This position will support multiple contracts and will provide support to the Finance Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Candidate will prepare and review monthly financial reports and send to Project/Program Managers. Assist in development of CDRLs (Contract Deliverables) for Finance. Run reports from CER (Costpoint Enterprise Reporting) and Costpoint Accounting software. Possess analytical skills, effectively handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.   
  • At hoc financial reports when requested by InDyne Finance and Program/Project Managers.
  • Backup duties for Billing Analyst to include preparation and submittal of complex invoices for government and non-government contracts and reconciliations.
  • Assist with invoicing cost contract including complex reports.
  • Responsibilities include advanced skill set of Excel required inclusive of pivot creation and functionality.
  • Candidate should have proficient knowledge of Costpoint or similar accounting software.
  • Requires experience with reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present financial data to managers and Corporate.
  • Review and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
  • Prepare Requests for Equitable Adjustments.
  • Prepare or review proposals.
  • Prepare estimates for contract costs and indirect rates. Review and analyze indirect rates and costs.
  • Review contracts and contract modifications. Enter in accounting system.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills. Communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational/Training Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Experience with Costpoint and CER or Cognos or similar software required.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Advanced skill set for Excel required inclusive of formulas and pivot creation and functionality. Proficient detailed knowledge of government funding and contracts with experience and understanding of Costpoint and CER.
  • 1+ years in financial role. 3+ years preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

  • Primarily office environment/setting
