Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location where you will conduct unarmed, vehicle-based patrols and routine rounds across assigned areas. With a valid driver's license, you will respond to security-related concerns, stay highly visible to help reduce incidents, and provide clear, professional communication to team members and site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aviation and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, hangars, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, check identification and/or visitor credentials, manage visitor sign-in processes, and assist with vehicle screening and package observations in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, alarms, fire panels, and/or evacuation actions as directed by post orders.
• Document security-related activity, patrol findings, and incidents in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate timely updates to site representatives and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
