This dynamic position involves curriculum development, instructional design, technical writing, and delivering on-site and web-based training courses to ensure high-quality learning experiences. The role also includes managing training infrastructure, revising materials, and aligning programs to business requirements, regulatory standards, and Quality Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and conduct on-site and web-based technical training courses for various software solutions, including Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Products and custom IT-driven solutions.
- Write and maintain technical training materials, including course outlines, instructional content, reference documents, and interactive activities.
- Develop infrastructure for delivering technical training, including multimedia programs, simulations, electronic learning (eLearning), and classroom training techniques.
- Plan and deliver scenario-based, interactive, and innovative training programs to support classroom and remote learning environments.
- Help staff with productivity and performance reporting, both internal and external to the agency.
- Segment and structure complex concepts into units of instruction, creating training programs that enhance comprehension and knowledge retention.
- Develop and maintain instructor materials such as background documents, training aids, and step-by-step desktop support processes (e.g., Remote Access Systems procedures).
- Incorporate current learning technologies, including alternative instructional media, computer-based systems, and online methods, to strengthen course delivery.
- Assist in formatting training materials created by other staff members, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and usability.
- Design computer-based and multimedia curriculum tailored to meet customer specifications and audience needs.
- Stay updated on advancements in the field of technical training, especially in alternative delivery methods.
- Evaluate and implement improvements in instructional techniques and teaching strategies.
- Research and recommend suitable vendors, tools, and supplemental resources for training, including books, readymade guides, vendor-led sessions, and web-based tools.
- Manage technical training programs in alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
- Incorporate new curriculum elements into existing courses through design clarifications and application-based examples.
- Maintain professionalism and classroom discipline during training programs while employing alternative techniques to motivate and engage learners.
- Serve as the testing officer, conducting analysis and developing or modifying test items related to training courses.
- Analyze audience needs, gather data, and recommend customized training approaches to support new business processes and policies.
- Evaluate training programs to assess effectiveness and recommend refinements to ensure continued success and optimal learner outcomes.
- Maintain basic knowledge of Electronic Information Resources (EIR) Accessibility requirements and assistive technologies used by individuals with disabilities.
- Support accessible training solutions by integrating EIR Accessibility protocols into programs, ensuring equal access and accommodations.
- Follow established procedures for communicating with customers requiring special assistance while adhering to organizational protocols.

- Level 1: Minimum 3 to 5 years of training work experience delivering technical training. Minimum 3 years of experience conducting classes regarding software solutions, IT security, IT system installation, software programming, system maintenance, and repair of software, operational support best practices, and equipment . Experience with web-based learning management systems and e-Learning authoring tools. Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A high degree of aptitude and flexibility to deliver training on a myriad of software products. Experience in delivering technical training in cloud-based technology is a plus.
- Level 2: Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience designing, developing and implementing training curricula. Develop training programs, including web-based and instructor led courses, job-aids, videos, etc. Minimum 5 years of experience conducting classes regarding standard operating procedures of various software solutions, IT security, IT system installation, software programming, system maintenance, and repair of software, operational support best practices, and equipment . Experience with web-based learning management systems and e-Learning authoring tools. Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A high degree of aptitude and flexibility to deliver training on a myriad of software products. Experience in delivering technical training in cloud-based technology is a plus.
- Level 3 : 8 or more years of experience designing, developing and implementing training curricula. Develop training programs, including web-based and instructor led courses, job-aids, videos, etc. Minimum 5 years of experience conducting classes regarding standard operating procedures of various software solutions, IT security, IT system installation, software programming, system maintenance, and repair of software, operational support best practices, and equipment . - Experience working with multimedia programs, simulations, and alternative teaching methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in technical training program design, instructional delivery, and curriculum maintenance.
- Proficiency in developing instructor-led and computer-based training solutions, including instructional materials (outlines, manuals, multimedia aids).
- Strong technical writing skills with a proven ability to translate and simplify complex technical content for diverse audiences.
- Understanding of eLearning methodologies, multimedia technologies, and computer-aided instructional design.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for training program management, quality control, and evaluation.
- Basic knowledge of EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies.

Working Conditions
