Responsibilities

The Systems Integrator (SI) supports the Center's Human Resources (HR) team, which serves as a business partner to Center management and its workforce. The SI is responsible for coordination across the Center and with other organizational elements in support of HR activities, actions, directives, initiatives, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will provide comprehensive life-cycle HR support to the Center's business partners. Key duties include:
- Serving as the primary focal point for HR-related inquiries and assistance, including supporting colleagues during annual Directorate Global Program calls.
- Providing input on HR processes, policies, and workflows to ensure accuracy and data integrity in all reporting and metrics.
- Conducting research and analysis on HR issues and making recommendations to management.
- Identifying opportunities for innovative advancements and process improvements that directly impact the achievement of mission objectives.
- Exercising solid customer service skills, sound judgment, and discretion when working with all levels of management.
- Collaborating with HR colleagues across Directorates and Mission Centers to identify HR issues, provide solutions, and implement strategies for process improvements.
- Assisting with evaluation, promotion, and selection panels, including Directorate Program Calls.
Qualifications
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
- BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
- Ability to fully coordinate master project schedules.
- Ability to coordinate information flow between all programs and organizational managers.
- Ability to establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware and software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
- Provide a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.
- Ability to identify problems, conduct research, and propose effective solutions. This includes analyzing the impact of problems on employees, identifying a range of options, and providing the implications of each option.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and mission partners at all levels. This includes excellent oral and written communication skills to provide clear and concise responses to employee inquiries.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service, exercising sound judgment and discretion when interacting with employees and management.
- Working knowledge and experience with Customer's HR and personnel data systems, data retrieval, and data integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Keen attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
- On-site experience supporting the Center (or one or more Departments).

- Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.

- Experience with Customer's personnel systems for field personnel.
