FWI is building a team to provide video support services including maintenance, installation, integration, and programming of Audio Visual and Video Teleconference (AV/VTC) systems, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and Digital Signage across the Defense Logistics Agency Enterprise. As an Audio-Visual Command Meeting Engineer, you will provide priority support to Integrated Command Conference Rooms, Auditoriums, and Meeting Centers utilized by senior leadership, ensuring timely maintenance and resolution of AV/VTC issues within your assigned zone.

Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at DLA Headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, VA
Responsibilities
- Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces
- Install projection screens, plasma TVs, and different types of speakers
- Installation of AV systems on client sites
- Read blueprints and wire AV racks
- Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment
- Testing, analyses, and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software
- Travel within Zone B and provide augmentation support to other zones as needed. Zone B locations are Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland & Florida.
- Respond within 4 hours (Priority 1) or 8 hours (Priority 2) to incidents
Qualifications
Required:
- 5 years of relevant experience working with Crestron, Cisco, Biamp/AMX, and Extron.
- One of the following AV certifications is required:
- AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification
- Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification
- AVIXA CTS Certification
- Top Secret level security clearance is required
