Job Summary:

KBR is currently seeking an Intermediate Logistician, Purchasing Coordinatorto join our team in the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland location in support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics - Army (PM IS&A).

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate purchases through various contract vehicles including Common Hardware System (CHS and CHESS)
  • Define purchase requirements with stakeholders
  • Coordinate for funding approvals for large scale purchases
  • Track multiple delivery orders over extended periods
  • Report and brief status to senior leadership
  • Conduct property accountability assisting with lateral transfers and traceability of equipment on site
  • Detail-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills


Basic Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration/Management or Technical.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of related logistics experience
  • Direct experience in coordinating purchases through various contract vehicles including Common Hardware System (CHS and CHESS).
  • Direct experience in defining purchase requirements with stakeholders
  • Experience with coordination for funding approvals for large scale purchases
  • Experience in tracking multiple delivery orders over extended periods
  • Experience in reporting and briefing status to senior leadership (O6 and/or above)
  • Experience in Property Accountability to assist with lateral transfers and traceability of equipment on site
  • Allowable substitution: Twelve (12) years of logistics experience or a certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certificate with eight (8) years additional related experience may be substituted for education


Compensation:

$89,210.00 - $133,760.00. The salary range posted is for Maryland locations. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
