Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst / Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee technical field service operations supporting equipment installation, maintenance, system cutovers, and legacy system disposition. This role directs teams of field technicians while ensuring high-quality, efficient, and safe service delivery across operational sites.

The position also advises and supports the Program Manager by ensuring proper planning and execution of site surveys, site preparation, installations, cutover activities, and equipment transition efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations Leadership
  • Lead and supervise teams of field technicians performing:
    • Equipment installation
    • System repairs and maintenance
    • Site upgrades and technical service activities
  • Direct workforce planning and technician scheduling
  • Monitor field performance, productivity, and KPIs
Deployment & Site Support
  • Support planning and execution of:
    • Site surveys
    • Site preparation activities
    • System installations
    • System cutovers
    • Legacy equipment disposition
  • Ensure field work aligns with program schedules and customer requirements
Technical Oversight
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Ensure troubleshooting and problem resolution are handled effectively
  • Support training and technical development of field personnel
Operational Management
  • Manage scheduling, logistics coordination, and inventory/asset tracking
  • Oversee service quality and ensure work meets technical and safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Customer & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service satisfaction
  • Coordinate with program teams, logistics, and technical stakeholders
  • Provide status updates and operational reporting to leadership

Qualifications

Required Experience & Technical Background
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D., 16 years in lieu of degree
  • Experience managing technical field service operations
  • Background in overseeing installation, repair, and maintenance of technical equipment or systems
  • Experience leading teams of technicians in field environments
  • Familiarity with system deployments, site readiness, and cutover activities
  • Experience managing technical escalations and troubleshooting efforts
  • Knowledge of inventory and asset management processes

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
