As an Aircraft Inspector II, you will perform routine inspections independently, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards. You will gain more responsibility in inspection planning and documentation.
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Estimated Starting Salary Range: $26.39 - $36.29. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.

- Conduct routine aircraft inspections.
- Plan and prepare for basic inspections.
- Document and report findings.
- Identify and correct minor non-conformities.
- Maintain compliance with inspection schedules and timelines.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe (A), or Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate.
- Experience with aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
- Basic understanding of audit and inspection processes and procedures.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Exposure to aviation maintenance and/or inspection operations processes and procedures.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Work in varying environmental conditions.
