Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Partner across matrixed organizations and external partners to define and execute upon a strategy to enable the EW business to scale.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to execute strategy including building the approach, timelines, and cost.
- Manage monthly budget and forecasting activities and support annual strategy planning process
- Coordinate of strategic business rhythms; implementing and maintaining FLIGHT DECK tools and process to enable continuous improvements and productivity
- Use deep expertise and experience in Operations, Applications, Client Services, Network and Data Center to manage multiple concurrent projects forming a program strategy
- Provide leadership in analyzing impacts/ leverage new technology frameworks like Cloud, Automation, Artificial Intelligence
- Drive changes to organization strategy, operational processes & frameworks in line with overall business goals
- Develop, simplify, and control of processes and procedures to ensure effective compliance with organizational policies and goals
- Manage IT vendors' proposals on the requisition of hardware / software and coordinate with the global finance team, manage business partner customer escalations, while adhering to compliance standards
- Develop and track comprehensive project plans, perform risk mitigation, issue resolution and manage execution coordinating with GE program, support, architecture, implementation teams and other third-party providers
- Ensure conformance to all applicable GE Aerospace standards, policies, and guidelines
- Oversee operational reporting/communication, reviews/formulation of corrective actions working directly with stakeholders
- Leverage your domain expertise; you are expected to further the knowledge and improve productivity of your colleagues with activities such as creating learning content, giving presentations, and supporting the continuous improvement behavior
- Use disciplined approaches to monitor Edison Works Digital Technology's progress via effective FLIGHT DECK principles
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 9 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 11 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in secured environment information technology infrastructure design, development or deployment.
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
- Able to obtain and maintain active US DOD "Secret" Security Clearance

- Proficiency in financial and accounting tools and practices.
- Knowledge of security and risk assessment processes, including familiarity with information assurance principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business and security risks and recommend solutions.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and requirements management tools.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry, particularly in classified environments.
- Familiarity with GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK operating model and lean principles.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as NIST, JSIG, or CMMC.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
