We are seeking a highly motivated leader with a passion for driving Culture and Engagement across the enterprise. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Corporate Responsibility (GCR), the Senior Director will be responsible for developing and leading a company-wide approach to improving employee belonging, well-being and local community engagement. The Senior Director will be responsible for driving integration of well-being as a key part of our culture; creating the best "conditions" for employees to innovate and perform. In collaboration with HR & Business Leaders, this executive will implement specific enterprise objectives, and business plans to align initiatives with business strategies & metrics focusing on the workplace, workforce, marketplace & community.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong leadership impact while collaborating with business and functional leaders to develop and implement strategies that drive best in class results.

Primary Level Salary Range: $213,700.00 - $320,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Be a key part of the GCR leadership team; collaborating with the GCR VP and other senior leaders to set strategic direction, goals and priorities for the GCR organization.
- Lead the Culture & Engagement team, responsible for improving employee belonging, well-being and local community engagement across company sites and regions in the U.S. and globally.
- Oversee design and governance of all Culture & Engagement programs, events and resources. This includes:
- Culture programs that enhance employees' sense of belonging on their team, at their site and with the company. We want all employees to feel safe, valued and included. As part of this, you'll be ultimately responsible for management and evolution of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
- Well-being initiatives that help employees thrive in work and life.
- Programs that strengthen hyper-local community engagement, including employee volunteerism, non-profit partnerships and charitable giving.
- Improve employee engagement through volunteerism
- Through charitable giving, increase access to the tech workforce
- Implement a new operating model, helping employee-facing teams shift from sector and functional silos to supporting the business as integrated, regional teams. It's important you drive a harmonized, one NG approach across your team's efforts to ensure the best possible employee experience.
- Guide regional leaders as they develop and execute Culture & Engagement strategies for their region.
- Ensure GCR programs and resources are successfully implemented at the local level.
- Continuously evaluate and refine Culture & Engagement programs to ensure alignment with company objectives, GCR objectives and employee needs.
- Create channels for employee listening.
- Plan and execute large-scale, company-wide events.
- Partner closely with the Operations team to cultivate a data-driven culture. Use data to inform decision making, establish team KPIs and dashboards, and measure impact regularly.
- Partner with HR, Communications and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment across people programs and consistent messaging around culture and values.
- Serve as a thought partner and first line of support to executive leadership, advising on people-first practices and helping embed culture into business strategy.
Expertise Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business or related field, and at least 12 yrs of HR related experience; 10 yrs with a Master's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience in employee engagement, workplace culture or organizational development at a large company ($5B+ in annual revenue).
- Experience in corporate social responsibility, well-being and/or community relations strategy development.
- Track record of successfully implementing significant, transformative change(s) within a company or organization.
- Familiarity with global workforce engagement strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in highly-matrixed environments.
- Data fluency with experience gathering program metrics and creating impact reporting.
- Clear ability to connect business strategy and business growth to employee belonging, well-being and community engagement.
