Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Principal System Test Engineer/Senior Principal System Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Advanced Test and Engineering Services organization to support Space Simulation testing. This position will be located in Baltimore, Maryland.
As a System Test Engineer in Space Simulation you will be responsible for Environmental System test and verification efforts in accordance with Mil-Std 810 environmental testing standards. The ideal candidate will have analytical skills to review MIL Standards, test requirements, and create test plans and procedures based on level I and level II requirements. Interfacing with Systems Engineering, the candidate will develop an expert understanding of environmental product qualification process. The candidate will define test infrastructure to develop and execute environmental system testing at the component, sub-system, and system level in support of design verification and product qualification. The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively communicate and work with customers, program management, systems engineering, manufacturing, design engineering and test engineering personnel. The candidate should be self-directed and organized.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,900.00 - $148,300.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $123,400.00 - $185,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. - Coordinates integrated testing activities.
- Reviews and evaluates test requirements to ensure completeness of test program.
