You will be the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Augmentation Team Lead for the THAAD CLS Augmentation Team. Our team enables rapid OCONUS surge support for international partners operating the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system, delivering maintenance, sustainment, and training across all tactical sites.

What You Will Be Doing
As the CLS Augmentation Team Lead you will direct a small, high performing subcontractor crew (up to four members) while stationed at the THAAD Training Academy, Fort Bliss, TX. You'll oversee day to day maintenance, drive curriculum and faculty development, and stand ready to deploy anywhere in the world for up to 30 day rotations, ensuring the THAAD weapon system stays mission ready.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the CLS Augmentation Team in all maintenance and repair activities for THAAD hardware both at the Training Academy and at remote CONUS/OCONUS sites.
• Supervising new maintainer and operator training, guaranteeing all equipment used for instruction remains fully serviceable.
• Rapidly deploying OCONUS to backfill CLS personnel, executing contractual sustainment tasks for our international partner.
• Translating customer and product requirements into realistic, cost effective technical solutions.
• Developing training curricula and supporting faculty under the direction of the THAAD Academy Commandant.
• Initiating engineering reach back for advanced troubleshooting and providing expert guidance to the team.
• Communicating clearly with Lockheed Martin, Missile Defense Agency, and other stakeholders on status, concerns, and corrective actions.
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing anomalies during standard Battery operations to maintain hardware readiness.
• Preparing concise oral and written briefings for program leadership that influence planning and operational decisions.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Fort Bliss, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of relevant experience working in Field Service and / or Systems Engineering (or similar position)
• Previous experience with the THAAD weapon system (or similar Air Defense system)
• An active U.S. Department of Defense SECRET (or Interim SECRET) Security Clearance.
• A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel
• Willingness to travel on short notice & perform these duties at remote CONUS/OCONUS locations
• Ability to meet International Partner business visa requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
• Candidate must be able to maintain a good working relationship with the internal and external stakeholders
• Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine deployability capabilities as defined by the contract

• **Candidate must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security + certification within 90 days of start date to satisfy contractual requirement
Desired Skills:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in appropriate field commensurate to assignment and / or equivalent military background
• Previous experience as a THAAD or Patriot Field Service Leader, Contractor Logistics Support Leader and / or Maintenance Leader
- Demonstrated ability in interpreting technical manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, interface specifications, and system level requirements
- Demonstrated ability in applying troubleshooting and fault detection/isolation methods
• Comp TIA Security + Certification
• Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Certification
• Previous experience working with cross-functional teams across multiple technical disciplines (Systems Engineering, Integration & Test Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar)
• Previous experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar)
• Previous experience developing new equipment training material for military systems (THAAD, PAC-3, or similar)
• Program/Project Management experience with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical and programmatic issues to subordinates, peers, management, and customers
• Basic knowledge of:
- Electrical/mechanical aptitude
- Hydraulic operations
- Army Supply System
- Army Sustainment (i.e. Depot Maintenance) concepts/processes
- Army Field Maintenance concepts/processes
• Other desired military (MOS) training:
- 14A / 140A / 14E / 140E / 14H / 14T / 25U

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
