Description:
You will be the Systems Engineer - Flight Test for the F-16 & T/FA-50 System Integration and Test (SI&T) team which is responsible for delivering avionics system-level testing and verification for upgraded and new production aircraft.

As the Systems Engineer - Flight Test you will be responsible for partnering with the system integration and test team to support avionics system level flight test activities across multiple F-16 and T/FA-50 configurations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Some shift work (2nd / 3rd) may be required to support program and lab schedules. Travel is expected 25% or more of time.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar STEM discipline
• Aircraft avionics familiarity including but not limited to navigation systems, weapon systems, sensors/pods, communication systems, etc.
Desired Skills:
• Physically able to access aircraft cockpit and test fixtures
• Must be willing and able to conform with flight line dress code and FOD requirements
• Experience with flight test activities
• Experience with testing of avionics software and hardware
• Proficient in data analysis, problem identification/isolation, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of the systems engineering process
• Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience working on a special access program
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
