Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer - Secret position that just opened in Dedham, MA. In this role, you will be a key part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing complex and mission-critical systems. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related experience. DoD Secret clearance is required at time of hire.

Contract: 12 months or longer
Pay: $75.34/hour
Clearance: Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer, you will be a key part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing complex and mission-critical systems. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all program phases, including requirements analysis, schematic capture, defining routing constraints, directing PCB/PWB layout and routing activities, and supporting the manufacturing, integration & test, and qualification of the hardware system. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and customers to develop systems that meet their high expectations. In this role, you will primarily support the Cyber business area developing mission computers, sensor processors, and stores management hardware, with opportunities to work across GDMS.

Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
- Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
Clearance Requirements
- Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire.
- Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
What sets you apart:
- Understanding of the hardware development process throughout the lifecycle of a program
- Experience with circuit card designs, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces
- Working knowledge of the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool suite for schematic entry, constraint manager, and HyperLynx Signal Integrity/Power Integrity analysis
- Ability to persevere through design challenges with minimal direction
- Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to drive innovation and secure buy-in on your concepts and idea
