Help
- You will develop, implement, and administer the Shipyard's Substance Abuse Primary Prevention and Intervention Program (SAPPIP).
- You will provide counseling services associated with the SAPPIP.
- You will provide training and education to employees, supervisors, and managers.
- You will maintain records and prepare required reports.
- You will maintain a list of counselors and ensure they are apprised of pertinent personnel management information and recent changes.
- You will serve as a counselor for substance abuse problems and other problems.
- You will provide confidential consultation with employees who request or are referred/directed to counseling.
- You will maintain individual case files which contain data necessary for the counselor's use and for required reports.

- You must have a minimum of 3 years experience and be licensed as a clinical social worker at the independent level of practice (LCSW or LICSW). LADC/MLADC preferred.

- Experience providing counseling services for individual cases, including those categorized as serious and complicated.
- Experience assessing and evaluating employees who are physically, emotionally, or mentally impaired, or others in need of or seeking vocational guidance.
- Experience with program management and administrative skills.
- Experience ensuring the provision of quality professional services, pertaining to a Substance Abuse Primary Prevention and Intervention Program (SAPPIP).
