Top Secret Cleared Systems Administrator

Our client, an aerospace and defense company located in Patuxent River, MD, is in need of a Top Secret Cleared (SCI eligible) Systems Administrator for an initial one year contract with high likelihood of extension. The Systems Administrator will work onsite daily, joining a team working on the development and improvement of cutting-edge technologies used by the U.S. Military and Intelligence Communities. The Systems Administrator will install, configure, maintain, and administer both a physical and virtual Linux and Windows based server/client infrastructure, perform flaw remediation and system patching, and manage accounts, rights, and access to these systems.

Required Skills:

• 5+ Experience administering Windows based servers
• 3+ years of experience administering Linux/UNIX servers
• SharePoint, SQL, Exchange, GPO's
• Experience using RHEL 7
• Experience using Solaris
• Experience re-establishing SolarWinds backups
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (must be SCI eligible)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with the JSIG/RMF, JAFAN 6/3, or DCID 6/3
• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in CS or similar)
• Experience working in an enhanced security environment
